Reflective Supervision

According to LawCare’s Life In the Law Report 2025, 56% of lawyers surveyed said that they could see themselves leaving their current workplace within the next 5 years. 32% were “not likely” to recommend a career in law and 59.1% were found to have poor mental wellbeing. High levels of work intensity combined with low levels of psychological safety are undermining mental health in the legal sector. LawCare explains that law firms need to be “moving beyond reactive support to actively putting in place preventative measures and embedding workplace practices that protect mental health and wellbeing.”

Reflective Supervision is a forum which offers a safe, confidential and structured space for people working within the legal sector to discuss anything that is happening in their personal or work lives that is affecting their wellbeing or ability to perform well at work. Your supervisor will support you in working through any challenges, facilitating these sessions with careful prompts, patience and understanding.

Supervision is offered both face to face or remotely, as one to one or group sessions.

“After our session last month, I felt so much more positive. I still feel the issues are there. But I did feel better equipped to deal with them” - Associate Family Solicitor
